Graduands are required to adhere to the following etiquettes during the ceremony:
Remain seated at all times while the Convocation Ceremony is in progress.
Mobile gadgets are to be switched off or switched to silent mode while attending the Convocation Ceremony.
Professional photographers have been engaged to capture your photographs on stage during the Convocation Ceremony. Your guests may take photographs with their cameras or video cameras from their seats only. Please advise your guests not to stand up or move from their seats while they are capturing your photographs or video.
Wear a face mask throughout the convocation ceremony.
Follow all instructions provided by Procession Marshalls.
THE DO & DON’T
DO’S
Please come early to avoid traffic jams and parking issues.
Please have your breakfast/meal before the convocation session. The convocation ceremony will take about three hours. Graduands and guests are not allowed to leave the hall before the end of the ceremony.
Please ensure that you are in the proper convocation attire before joining the procession to the Dewan Tun Canselor.
DON’TS
Graduands are not allowed to bring cameras, flower bouquets, food, handbags and etc. into the Dewan Tun Canselor.
Graduands are not allowed to move about in the convocation hall during the ceremony.
Graduands are advised to use the restroom before the ceremony to minimize disruptions during the ceremony.
In case of any emergencies, please seek the assistance of Marshall on duty.
