All graduands will be presented with convocation souvenirs as outlined below:
* It is mandatory for all graduates to wear the MMU tie (male) and MMU brooch (female) during the convocation ceremony.
Graduands are strongly advised not to authorize representatives to collect their convocation attire on their behalf.
This year, all convocation attire will be tagged with an RFID containing the graduand's personal details. To ensure a smooth convocation process and avoid any issues during the ceremony, graduands are required to collect their attire in person and verify their information during the RFID tagging process.
This verification is essential to ensure that all details stored in the RFID are accurate and correspond with the graduand's records, enabling the correct identification of the graduand when the scroll is presented on stage.
The robe must be returned within the stipulated period set by the University to enable the handover of your convocation items (Academic Transcript and Senate Letter).

* The replacement charge for LOSING the graduation cap (mortarboard or bonnet) is RM185.00. This charge is inclusive/exclusive of the tassel. The same replacement charge also applies to the loss of the tassel alone.
