Convocation Robe Collection Instructions

Kindly read the following instructions carefully before proceeding further:

  • Please ensure all required steps are completed on the Convocation Website.
  • The QR code for robe collection is available in your Convo Apps.
  • Please collect your robe according to the prescribed schedule.
  • Present your individual QR code at the robing counters during both collection and return for verification.
  • In the case of on-behalf collection, please provide a screenshot of the graduand’s QR code for verification.

Robe Collection (By Representative)

If you are unable to collect in person, your representative must bring:

  • A screenshot of the graduand’s QR code from Convo Apps.
  • A representative can collect for a maximum of three (3) graduands only.
Important Notes:
  • Ensure robe design and color correspond to your faculty and programme.
  • Check that the robe set is complete (robe, mortarboard/bonnet, hood) before leaving counter.
  • Only graduands and authorized representatives are allowed in the venue area.
Convocation Souvenir

Complete your web process to collect souvenirs:

  • Male Graduands: MMU Tie
  • Female Graduands: MMU Brooch

Note: Wearing the tie/brooch during the ceremony is mandatory. Souvenir collection schedule & location are identical to the Robe Collection Schedule.

Robe Return Schedule & Venue

Robes must be returned within the stipulated period to release your Academic Transcript and Senate Letter.

👔 ROBE COLLECTION & PURCHASE

👥 Robe Collection (by a Representative)

If you are unable to be physically present to collect the convocation robe, you may get assistance from your representative to collect it on your behalf. A representative is required to present the following documents upon collecting your convocation robe:

  • A copy of the Authorized Person’s NRIC/Passport.
📌 Representative Limit: A representative is allowed to represent up to three (3) graduands only. Graduands are fully responsible for the robes collected by the representative.
⚠️ Important Checklist: Before leaving the robe collection counter, graduands/representatives need to ensure that the robe received is complete (robe, mortarboard or hood – according to Diploma/Degree/Master/Doctorate).

Only graduands/representatives are allowed to be at the robe collection venue.

🛒 Robe Purchase / Damaged

Please directly make the arrangement with Ede & Ravenscroft (+603-4021 2000) or proceed to the Robe Counter if you want to purchase or the robe is damaged/lost (you must pay for the cost).

🧢 Graduation Cap Replacement Charge: The replacement charge for losing the graduation cap (mortarboard or bonnet) is RM185. This charge is inclusive/exclusive of the tassel. The same replacement charge also applies to the loss of the tassel alone.
