MMU requires that your name on your student record match your full legal name. This should be the name exactly as it appears on the photographic identity document (usually the passport & MyKad) used during registration. Your full name will appear on your transcript and degree certificate.
If you have legally changed your name (e.g., through marriage or other legal means), please upload a copy of the legal documents supporting this change (such as an updated passport & MyKad or marriage certificate—must be a certified true copy).
Please email your application with the required documentation to exam@mmu.edu.my before 31 October 2025. No changes will be made if the requested supporting documentation is not attached, or if the request is received after 31 October 2025.
Your Convocation Items will be sent to the registered Security Printing Company for further action.
Records cannot be changed retrospectively after receiving the Convocation Items. It is your responsibility to ensure that your name is recorded correctly and matches your ID document. Even if you have legally changed your name, we are unable to amend your student record retrospectively to reflect this change after graduation. The certificate and transcript are legal documents, and we cannot amend them post-graduation.
IMPORTANT:
Please ensure that the spelling of your name as stated on the Clic & Convocation website is correct to avoid any errors in the printing of certificates. If there are any errors, please provide feedback by email to exam@mmu.edu.my with the required documentation before 31 October 2025.
Failing to do so will result in a charge of RM150.00 for re-printing certificates.
Ensure that you have paid all fees and settled any outstanding dues before proceeding with registration.
